Since 1982,
The Roderique Centre has welcomed patients with hand and upper
extremity injuries. The majority of patients are from the greater
metro-Atlanta area, but many come from outlying areas throughout
Georgia. Approximately 90 percent of the patients treated at The
Roderique Centre have sustained work-related injuries.
The primary
goal of The Roderique Centre is to provide the highest quality
care of the hand and upper extremity. To accomplish this not only
are there spacious well-equipped treatment rooms, but there is
also an efficient hand therapy center as well as a technically
advanced surgical suite designed specifically for surgery of the
hand and upper extremity. Whether the problem is a simple laceration
or a more severe injury involving lacerated tendons and nerves,
fractures or dislocations of the hand, forearm, or shoulder, The
Roderique Centre renders quality care aimed at restoring the extremity
to its pre-injury level of function as quickly as possible.
Although special
emphasis is placed on the acutely injured patient, common problems
like carpal tunnel syndrome, cubital tunnel syndrome, de Quervain's
disease, tenosynovitis, trigger finger, ganglia, tennis elbow,
and rotator cuff tears are only a few of the problems treated
on a daily basis at The Roderique Centre.
Less frequently,
the problem demands advanced sophisticated methods of bony or
microvascular reconstruction drawing on the vast experience and
training of Dr. Roderique.
