Roderique Surgi-Center is located within the confines of The Roderique Centre. It evolved from a need to treat the trauma patient expeditiously and adequately with a minimum of the typical delay. By doing this in a professional manner, the perioperative risks are minimized and rapid recovery is maximized. Most procedures are executed by a surgical team including a Registered Nurse, an experienced Operating Room Assistant, a highly skilled Surgeon, and a Board Certified Anesthesiologist if needed.

The cutting-edge operating facility is licensed by the State of Georgia. Patients may arrive by car or ambulance. There is always adequate parking on site. From the technically advanced equipment and instrumentation to the operating room team of handpicked experts, the goal of Roderique Surgi-Center is to provide quality care in a safe, warm, reassuring environment.

In most instances because the procedure is done under painless regional anesthesia, the patient is relaxed enough to view the surgical procedure on nearby video monitors if he chooses.

Owing to heavy demands on local hospitals, it is not always possible to render expeditious emergency treatment of the hand and upper extremity at these facilities. The Roderique Centre prefers the patient to be sent directly to the Centre bypassing the long waiting lines in hospital emergency and operating rooms. If, however, there is a need for hospitalization, the patient is taken to the hospital where the procedure is done. Over 95% of all hand and upper extremity procedures done by surgeons of The Roderique Centre are performed at Roderique Surgi-Center. Every procedure is done on an outpatient basis. No one spends the night.
